Cantique de Noel is a familiar carol by the French composer Adolphe Adam. In English, the tune is more familiar as O Holy Night. The French text is written in1843 by Placide Cappeau for the festive event of the completion of the renovated organ in Roquemaure, France. A few years later Adolphe Adam wrote music to this text.
